is it true that higher ram is in vid card the faster it is ] say 9800 256mb ddr is better than ati radeon 9250 128mb ddr cause my friends were tellin me.

Yes, the 9800pro with more ram is faster than the 9250. Now a 128mb 6600gt will beat out a 9600 pro with 256mb of ram. The core and speed of the ram are more important than the ammount. And before you ask, no it will not help you computer one bit

9800 256MB owns 9250 128MB. Your PC = crap. 9800 Pro wont make your PC own. Go buy a new owneg PC.

lets not be mean, lots of peoples computers suck, but ok, your kinda right. @ topic starter, tell your freinds there wrong. if the core speed, pipes, bus bit architecture, and ram megahertz speed is faster, it will be a faster card than a 256 megabyte if it has 128 megs of ram. size of ram, speed of ram. two diffrent things. adding more system ram wont nessasarly make your system faster, you'll have to tweak speed and load page file into ram, but thats a diffrent story.
