I need new video editing software because Movie Maker has decided to crash every time I put some videos in.

I'm not asking for help for this problem, just for a good video editor. What would be a good one that allows you to choose where you want the video to start and end and cut parts of the video out?

I was just about to suggest Kino, but it's Linux-only.

Sony's Vegas. Its really really nice, and it lets you do alot of stuff.

Adobe Premiere Elements is a good choice for Windows.

If you can get your hands on a Mac, iMovie is terrific.
