When I try to play videos they flash green and wont play correctly. Ive tried window media player and real player. I have the divx codec and quiktime installed. They are avi files. Please help I would be utmost helpful,

Could be your GPU. What your specs? Problems happen anywhere else (in games, internet etc)

I had some problems with discolored videos. Try updating Windows Media Player, that should give you all the latest codecs.

Or download a program called G-spot. Use it on any media file and it will tell if you the file is ok, what codecs are needed and if they are installed.

It could also be the video card drivers! I know that the one that came with BF2 would not play video at all! I reverted back to the 66.93 Nvidia driver since it seems to be the most stable driver for me.
