my parents are thinking about getting a moniter...so i recommended a viewsonic. on newegg i pointed out one but they didnt like the reviews about so they choose this one. they wanted me to tell them if it was good so is the ViewSonic E70FB 17" PerfectFlat CRT Monitor a good moniter??? i think it will be fine but i just wanna check, here is the page for all the specs of it http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=24-116-279&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE

Thats an ok monitor, kind of low end but will get the job done. I would reccomend a P95f http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-116-219&depa=1 Much better specs.

If you must have a 17 inch, I would go with this one: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-116-226&depa=1

I have that same monitor excpet i got it for $115 and delivered for free.

I've only ever had one BAD monitor. A Goldstar. That thing was awfull.

The best 17" CRT I've had a chance to use is an Apple Studio Display. It works on My PC, just not with my Diamond Monster 3D II.

Crisp Clear, quality. Many of them sell used today for about $250, some for $399. There kinda rare, cause I've got three. :D
