You need to know the infected files first

well i dont use norton, but if you were on a website when you got them then let me guess that your not using firefox or any other alternate browser if your using Internet Explorer then i will suggest, along with like 80% of everyone here will too that you should get Firefox, its safer, faster and has tabbed browsing

Norton used to do this to me also. I went and got AVG Free Antivirus, and it fixed what Norton could not! Best of all, it's free! You can run it right along with Norton if you are afraid to uninstall Norton due to registry problems are known to have occured when doing so. Just go to www.download.com and type "avg free" in the search.

Like what are the infected files and what are the virus names(Cabir.e) Or you could go with AVG also try running the live-updates.

Mullet Man Just go to www.download.com and type "avg free" in the search.

Or just go Here, and scroll to the bottom. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/Get+AVG+FREE/lng/us/tpl/v5

Norton does have automatic scanning, and instant removal of downloaded files containing viruses. So the reason you could not find them, was because Norton already got rid of them. It just popped up, to tell you it was working, and to warn you of possible dangers on the site your visiting.
