Yeah, but id recommend 2. As a Vista user, I know for a fact that Vista likes RAM for dinner, So it'b be nice to have quite alot free. So it's better in games.
To play ok you need 2GB. Stalker eat 1.4GB in my XP so for Vista...I think Bioshock, Crysis and Assasin's creed will do the same
To run Vista, you can have 1 gig, to play games, 2 gigs is almost a must.

Im running Vista 64 Ultra, a AMD 4400X2, and 2GB PC6400 (DDR2800), and a 8600GTS.
IMHO I would not try to game on Vista with less than 2GB. I tried, didnt like it, went back to 2GB.
In fact if you can swing it I would run 4GB. Vista will allocate 2GB per application. So if you have 4GB and two applications it will apply 2GB to each application.

4GB is your best bet for gaming on Vista.
