Feel the fire

I saw this in another forum today so I thought i'd post it over here. I got the patch a few hours ago. I wasn't sure if this should be in tech or general.
Two weeks ago a serious vulnerability in all versions of Windows was discovered that allowed nefarious WMF files (used by Office and displayed by Internet Explorer and Outlook) to execute potentially unsafe code. Opening the way for Trojan infection by simply viewing an image in your browser (Firefox and Opera are safer as they don't display the image, but they still cache it leaving a ticking bomb in your internet cache). It's entirely possible that users could possibly attack you with this WMF exploit here on the forums as [IMG] links, sigs or avatars. There has been attacks on other forums on the net. So we'd STRONGLY urge you all to follow this link to the new Microsoft fix for the exploit and patch immediately. It's for your own protection, guys.
