Nice temps, and it shows what happens when you use the humidity bypass ;)

What do you really need watercooled ram for?

Seriously, just get some ram with some good heatspreaders and as long as you have decent airflow your ram temps are going to be the least of your worries. Hell, my OCZ is overclocked and overvolted and it doesn't get very hot at all.

Watercooling is really only good if your pushing your rig to the extremes, or want it to be dead silent. Otherwise, and good air setup will do you just as well, and cost a hell of a lot less. That's the big hold back on water for me, you have to spend a arm and a leg to get a kit good enough to really make it worth it over using quality air.

Because you want to kill pressure and flow in the rest of your loop.

Only logical explanation.

Agreed. My 12+ fans in my case keep Ambient temps down to below 25C now. CPU never goes above 50C at load (Love my Typhoon!), and GPUs never reach 60C. Although...ALL the 120MM fans are all 130CFM rated. If I crank all the fans to 130CFM Ambient drops around to 20C, GPUS drop by 10C (As I have a 130CFM directed intake at it), and CPU stays around the same. (12 Fans include the GPU fans and HSF)

Seriously. Theres no point to watercooling ram. You just need a bit of active airflow on it. Ram isn't going to gain additional overhead from lower temperatures. And on a side note. Compnerd, maybe you should get reviews from another person besides that truebritar to mix things up.

Wasn't really meant to be a review, just a quick video of what watercooled RAM looked like, but, since you asked so nicely, here's something from HardOCP:

It basically tells you that you need some serious HP if you intend to play Cryostasis at 2560 x 1600 [H] Enthusiast - Cryostasis Gameplay Performance and IQ

I love how they absolutely smash Cryostasis in the end of the review:

Let’s put this simply: Based on what we saw of the level of graphical detail in Cryostasis, we really don’t see any good reason for performance to be so wretched...At the end of the day, we just don’t understand where our video horsepower was being wasted in this game.

But anyway, what's up with watercooling the RAM? It's not as if 32 degrees is that extreme, would lowering it to 8 degrees improve overclocking performance that much?

No. Lowering ram temperature does not allow additional headroom in the same manner that lowering cpu or video card temperatures do.

How many people actually use 2560x1600 screens though?

Hell, i feel lucky to be using a large 1920x1080 screen (32" HDTV).

A lot of people do. And you should consider yourself lucky, I'm luck to have a PC that plays Cod4 at high settings at an average of 28 FPS.
