These highlighted files just appeared in my slave drive today, what are they?/ do they belong there?/ should i delete them? wtf8qu.jpg

mfc71 sounds like a baddie according to this site, but the others maybe ok. i would just enter the names in google and see what info you get

None of them should technically be there, but a badly-made program might have put them there are there is nothing you can do about it. Do Google searches like M!tch did, for more information.

They all appear to be legitimate, although usually found in the %SYSTEM% directory. Anywhere else and one might suggest they're bad, but looking at their version numbers and information, they do appear to be the MS files.

Hit that HJT button on your desktop and see if anything of the sorts are listed.
