My computer is running windos xp, though I am thinking of switching it over to SUSE Linux 10.3.
This one? Vista.
In total we've got:
Two Vista (one of which has a virtual machine running XP, if that counts for anything) Four XP (my Dad's work laptop also runs XP but that belongs to the company he works for, not us) One XP/Mac OS X (Tiger. On a MAc Mini) Two OS X (again, Tiger. One is a G3 PowerMac, the other is another Mac Mini but we've no need for Windows on it) One ME (horrible OS, but it's only a worst-case backup machine in the event that all the others implode)
I do play with Linux from time-to-time, but it's not a permanent fixture on any of the machines. Normally because I break it. :p
XP as a main system at home simply because its the system I have to support at work and keeping very familiar with the UI means I can talk people through tasks via the phone without having it up on the screen. Not so essential when people call you at your desk, but slightly more so when its on your mobile.
I do duel boot with Suse 10, but I am planning on migrating across to Debian at some point.
Windows XP Home SP2. Works just fine for me... I may upgrade to Vista if SP1 gets good reviews.
Current OS is Vista, does fine for me. Desktop Computer has Dual Boot Vista and XP Other Desktop Computer has Windows 98 :D (GREATEST OS EVER!) Mums laptop also has XP
All in all, XP has screwed up A LOT more time then Vista has (Seems almost unstable haha)
Total: 2 Vista 2 XP 1 Win 98
Vista sucks, XP FTW
Both of my machines run Linux. I also use OpenSolaris for some of my coursework, although I don't actually own the box (it's a University system), I just SSH into it remotely.
Otherwise, I've played around with Linux, but I just don't have the time to truly figure it out; one of these days I'll install it again. And one of my brothers has a Mac with OS X, which is actually a nice OS; I just overall am more used to Windows.
I've got several machines, and my primary one runs several different Operating Systems. The most recent addition is Windows Vista, which I added so that I could provide support for Vista related issues.
Xandros 3.02 - With Debian Gnome add-ons. Kubuntu 7.10 - With Compiz-Fusion Windows 2000 Pro Windows Vista Basic (formerly Ultimate, examining the differences)
I have OS9, and OS X running on a PowerMac G3 Blue & White.
Windows CE on a Compaq Companion.
Windows XP on a Panasonic Toughbook.
Primarily I run Kubuntu 7.10 these days. Xandros is getting long in the tooth.
