This is my specs 3.0ghz w/HT 1gb of hyper x ram pc3200 @ 400mhz ATI 9800 PRO 128mb
What type of performance should i be getting on games like, Call of Duty, Far cry, Unreal tournament 2004 and other games that might bring down the fps. I know what i am getting on COD and ut2004, but i want to know what other people think i should get. Just checking, i wanna know if my pc is living up to what it can do.
Your comp should run those pretty decent, but it really depends on the brand, but that Radeon should fare pretty well if its actually powered by ATI. -Gotenks
Just put it this way,
BLOODY GOOD PERFORMANCE
I am finished *walks out the door emotionless*
Hmm, well this should be in the tech discussion section. Your comp should run everything you throw at it without a problem with superb performance.
Well,COD will run in all its beauty. Farcry is just a bitch.I cant pull the max out of it (patch 1.1 made it even worse,I think)And I`m not going to start bout BFV... It`s all about the games engine, some will do great others will need a super computer.
you like pacman? if so you won't see that little moving circle.... damn thatn nice.... it should run just about anything pretty well...
I'm spending a year dead for tax reasons.

Heh, those specs should handle anything out there at the moment with ease. Some things better then others though, some games are a bitch. But meh, your specs are better then mine, and mine hasnt faced a challenge yet.

More or less the same setup as I have. Im playing games at 1600x1280 res, most special effects turned on, and get a steady flow of 60++ FPS depending on the specific situation ingame. Far Cry, UT2004, Doom3 beta, BFV, Homeworld2 etc, all works great.
Your card may be optimized even further if you read up on Directx & opengl and customize your settings.
To get the "little extra" change your settings and run 3d benchmarks after each change. Good way to optimize..
