I ordered this defective video card recently and I'm in the process of looking for a new one and I was wondering if someone could tell me the difference between PCI and PCI Express.

stillsmokinme the difference between PCI and PCI Express.

The difference is your graphics looking like lego characters or like actual people. PCI is the original I/O slots that's about as old as dirt, PCI-Ex is a higher transfer and most current and preferred I/O which most modern mobos run now. It is NOT transferrable so if your card is a PCI, you have to get a PCI video card and vice versa.
