I'm leaning towards the 2nd build. first one looks nice...debating on keeping my 750ti it's a beast. The 2nd on I can keep my current CPU it's 750K clocked out at 3.8ghz new CPU 3.7ghz no really noticeable difference, speed wise.

I'm not sure I can tell where the first build ends, and the second one begins! Can you neaten out the lists a little?

Avoid the GTX 950 if you intend to do any serious gaming.

I don't intend to do serious gaming with the 950, I just wanna play Warhammer 40k Space hulk deathwing and perhaps the new Dawn of War game. my 750ti is a little beast tho, don't know if I wanna part with it. Also fixed the first post as well.

Not really sure what the point of those builds is. Few games use octa-core CPUs well. If your current CPU is good enough there is no need to upgrade it. Think along the lines of "I have this, I want to do this, this is my budget" and you'll probably get better recommendations.

If your budget is 700 bucks and your current CPU is good enough for the types of games you play you might want to spend the money on a fast GPU and maybe a SSD (assuming you don't have one in your build yet) and plug that into your current PC. Buy a used GTX970 (~200 bucks on e-bay) and a new SSD (256gb, ~US$ 150) and you'll have a much better gaming experience compared to what either of those two builds can deliver.

If you really want to go AMD and are not in a big hurry, hold off till Zen launches.

If you want a system now, put a Intel CPU in it. You're going to get better single threaded performance and if you don't plan to do anything but light gaming, you don't need to worry about having lots of cores or hyperthreading.

Yeah I could wait for a bit, yeah I thought the 8 or 6 core CPU wouldn't be the best for gaming. The gaming rig is to replace my old one in which I think it is failing sense I can see no software issues. Sense I would be savaging most parts from my current PC like my Ram, my PSU and my hard drive. I figured all I really need is a new Case, MOB and a new video card. What would you guys recommend anyways? Basically I'm not hard core gamer on my PC, . There is like 2 games I want. Warhammer 40k space hulk deathwing and DOW 3. I'd say I'd like to keep my budget below 400 bucks I know that's not much to work with.  The reason I go with AMD is it well I find cheaper then Intel. I buy my stuff from Canada computers those build I had up where from there "Build it to win, build to order". http://www.canadacomputers.com/system_config/ most of there AMD after the cheap one they are all hecta and octa cores
