Sgt. D. Pilla;4089800Agree'd about the cost part, and the LCD is a bit of a waste, but its still quite a reliable keyboard, and has a great use if you do multimedia etc because of the customisable buttons But also, I just found out that they produced G-15's in cordless, and corded... They did the same with the G7 mouse, G7 is cordless, and I >think< its the G5 mouse that is identical, but corded :Puzzled: Ah-well, but basically any keyboard that is made by either Logitech or Microsoft is a generally a good deal
G11 is basicaly G15 without that LCD but much cheaper so I would say is better value
Sgt. D. Pilla;4089563Bahahahaha your funny :p I got a G-15 in front of me now (mates place) and it is wireless, completly!
Funny, because according to Logitech (and sites with reviews) it uses a wired USB connection. That goes for both versions. Logitech do make a wireless keyboard with an LCD screen, but it's not the G-15.
Nope, this one was certainly a G-15
The G-15 isn't wireless. They only make wired "G" keyboards. Have a 1st-gen G-15 myself.
As to the original question, the MX-5000 is the bluetooth wireless setup I use and I love it. Most people aren't looking to spend that much on a keyboard/mouse though ($100+).
btw - The mx-5000 has an lcd screen, maybe your buddy had one of those.
