The 8800 GT, as far as i know, has been officially announced for release quite soon. But where will it stand in respect to the GTX and GTS? The suffixes have just confused the hell out of me, especially since i heard it should be in the $250 range, that means it can't be better than the GTX.

From what i've heard, its supposed to perform right in between the 8800GTS 320MB and the 8800GTX.

The suffixes have just confused the hell out of me

GTX > GT > GTS (from what i've heard at least).

From the benches I've seen it will hang right with an 8800GTX at 1280x1024 res, though the bench stats didn't say if any AA and AF were used. That's pretty decent for a $200 card, but in fairness the 8800s are made for high res and settings.
