Hey... Firewalls. Which one, in your opinion, is the best? Nortons, McAfee, Sygate, Zone Alarm, Checkpoint, Microsoft, Tiny Personal, NetWatcher, ConSeal, a different one? Or do you use something else entirely to keep out the worms and dirty little hacks? Cheers... ADDITION: Say something about what you use. Don't just say "Zonealarm", as that's useless.
I don't use one. I use a router ;)
Ah...so, other? :P
You should amend the title of this to "Which software firewall..." I also make use of hardware. I'll turn on whatever the OS has integrated into it, but I won't rely on it. The best, IMO, is one running off a LiveCD on a box with no hard drive, behind a router whose firewall is enabled.
I use a combination of Hardware, and Software. Two Firewalls are better than one. :D
I don't trust any firewall, hardware, or software, enough to use it as my sole source of security.
I use the firewall that comes with my linksys router :)
I use Microsoft SP2. Surprisingly I've never had problems with it, but as soon as it lets something major through I'll get another one. I tried Zonealarm but got sick of it not learning what I wanted to let through (kept asking each time, very annoying).
i use both Windows SP2 and ZoneAlarm which i both live by ;)
