I currently have a Nvidia Geforce 7600GS 256 MB 126 bit GC. Im looking for a new GC thats better than the one I have right now. Preferably an Nvidia 512 MB 256 bit GC below $200. If theres a better ATI card then let me know. Also, I have a 300 Watt PSU so if the GC needs a more powerful PSU then let me know and if possible, include a link for the PSU. Many thanks in advance.

I'm surprised 300 Watts works with a 7300. If you want to upgrade your graphics card at all, you're going to need a better power supply. 500 Watts or more will be better.

The new nVidia 8X00 cards support DirectX 10 and 9. Obviously, they're more technologically advanced than the 7X00 series. The 8600 Ultra looks pretty good, and it's $129 last I checked.

I don't think it is, but that's what the price was reported to be by nVidia.

The 8600 isent out. but a cheaper 8800GTS is out. The only difrent about it is that it got 320 mb of gddr3 ram and not 620.

If you were refering to the 8600 I'm not sure how much Ram it has. But the 8800 GTS has 620 MB.
