Ok I have been searching this fourm and reading about graphic cards. Now I would like throw my questions out there I am looking at a couple graphic cards 1. Visiontech 9600xt 256- $130 2. Ati 9600se 128- $100 Are those good cards? and are they about the right price? also is visontech a good supplier? Would it be better to pay the extra 30 bucks for the visiontech? Please give me more suggestions on different cards or places to buy them I play Battlefield 1942 FH, and play ROME total war and medal of honor Right now I have a GeforceMX 400 and its pretty bad. I would to play both of these games at high settings without problems, but I am not looking to pay alot of money $90-$130 range is the price i am looking at. Thank you
the 9600XT isnt bad for a mid-ranged card... dont go for anything ending with 'SE'... it means Shitty Edition :D
if u can find a 9800 Pro for a little more than the 9600XT, it would be a waaaay better buy. now that the X800 series are out, 9800 Pros will be obsolete. get em while they're cheap and available.
would the 9600xt run bf42 Fh and rome total war at high settings
SE are shit, i had a 9200SE, and it was shocking, i have now upgraded to a 9600XT 256mb, and its brilliant, sure its no x800xt or 6800gt, but it does the job. go for the XT easily, dont go with SE.
Go for the Radoen 9600 XT 256MB. I have the same card from Powercolor, it's good, and worth the money.
Stay on the other side of the world from any ATI card edning with SE, it means:
Slower edition Shitty edition Stupider edition Sucky edition Suck-my-cock edition
...or whatever :D
Go for the 9600xt 256, its a good mid range card.
