I am trying the new version of FSAutoStart called AlacrityPC. I set it to all the recommended settings just like I did when I used FSA. For some reason it's shutting down my desktop shell whereas FSA didn't. I left iexplorer.exe to the recommended setting too ("Nothing" - eg: no shutdown). It must be one of the services set to stop and restart that's causing it. The only thing that comes close to describing what's taking place when it shuts down the DT shell is this line in the command box and profile log... "Stopping desktop shell pid 3048" I'm not in dyer straights by this as I didn't go overboard and try to shut anything critical down, but I can't really launch games after using it so for now I can't really use it. I asked on their support forum but no word back yet.

Never mind, problem solved. There's a check box I overlooked which is set to shut down the shell/desktop by default.
