I just got my new power supply and i put it in and it worked beucase my CD drive cood run smoothly now..but the only problem now is ever since i put my graphics card in my comp soemtimes freeze. i have no idea why..its only a 7300GS and i got a 400 watt power supply. whenever i freeze my hard drive light indicator either is on all the way or off all the way.. i dont get this..do i have to turn on VGA or soemthing? :S i need help with this problem ><

I suggest you get a larger PSU or check if the PSU is damaged or something

I believe that he's saying that there's np way that his PSU is dead because it is new.

What the the manufacturor/model of your PSU. 400watts isn't all that much, espcially if you bought it new.

How many hard drives/cd dvd-rom drives do you have?

i got only one hard drive and 1 DVD drive

and like the PSU i ordered it from HP and my comp is also HP @_@

is 57-60 degrees ok for the vid card? and my CPU and Hard Drive are like 40 degrees ish (i used everest to see)

also i noticed this..do i needa turn on the VGA thingy after pressin F8 repeatedly?

Forty degrees farenheit, or celcius?

I would never buy my PSU from a major computer manufacturor, ans they're going to ship you the cheapest thing than can.

You should always buy PSU's from a company that specializes in them, like Antec.

You may have been shipped a bad PSU.

Most computers take temps in celcius. Thats pretty hot for a video card. How many fans do you have in your computer? IS the fan on the GPU spinning?

That's fine for an nVidia card, and pretty normal for one with a stock cooler.
