Intel® Pentium® M Processor 760 (2 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB) 17 inch Wide Screen XGA+ Display 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm 80GB 5400rpmHard Drive 256MB NVIDA® GeForce™ Go 6800 I can get these specs on a laptop for $1,470.00 (after coupons) I was wondering if I would be able to play most or all games out and if I would be able to play them well. Also if I would be able to squeeze a year or two out of it, gaming wise. If it won't play games well, I'd love to know what I should try and upgrade. I just wanted to be sure before I made that kind of commitment. Thanks
It will do, for now, but laptops arent supposed to play games, but that ones nice.
great system! I love the Pentium M's! very cool and effecent! should last you a while. maybe slow loading games, if possible, go with a 7200 RPM hard drive

I can upgrade to a 7200 RPM hardrive (with the same amount of space) But it will cost an additional $220. If the difference would be very noticable, I might try to get together the extra cash.
Thanks again

You will feel it, is it a nonamepc or?
Thats a nice laptop for anything, but like somebody said, laptops are not made for gaming (except alienware lol) but it should be enough to run games smooth
Buy it. It do good in gaming.
Do you HAVE to get a laptop?
If you want a gaming PC, get a desktop. Best advice you will ever get.
But it is still quite a nice laptop and you shouldn't have many problems playing high end games.
Where are you getting it from?
PLEASE dont get it if it is Alienware or Dell
