will DDR-400 pc3200 memory work in this mobo GIGABYTE GA-M61P-S3 Socket AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6100 ATX AMD Motherboard...don't no if thats enough info for you, but couldn't get the direct link from newegg..kept going to the motherboard section instead of the that motherboard

No sorry, the motherboard has 240-pin DDR2 RAM slots which aren't backwords compatibile with normal DDR RAM. You'll have to buy 240-Pin DDR2 RAM. Such as this Newegg.com - Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

The maximum memory speed that your centain MOBO can handle is DDR2 800. The memory you specified is DDR. It can handle 4x 240pin DDR2 RAM. Thats what you need to worry about. Make sure its 240pin DDR2 and it at or below DDR2-800.

DDR2-800 is not that expensive so you might as well go with that. Its best to always go with the fastest your mobo supports if you can.
