Beta is up: Windows 7 Beta Customer Preview
2.44GB - you'll need IE to download it.
Currently burning it to a DVD as we speak actually.
Though, i gotta partition my drive here at some point
Partitioning my Drive now, and downloading.
Tried it in a virtual machine a while ago, it seems to work alright although it looked like it had frozen at the install at some points (but it hadn't).
Runs slow, but most likely due to it being in a virtual machine. Hopefully will find a computer which I can test it on properly. Like some of the new features though and the new design.
From what I can see I like it must more than Vista.
I'm thinking about using it as my main OS. Think this is a bad idea? Too early? That, or is it possible to install an OS on an EXTHDD?

Way too early to use this as a main OS.

interesting. It must give you the equal level version from the OS you're using. My ISO is 3.16

I'm currently running 32bit XP, but I plan to test the 64bit version of Windows7.
It's going on a new partition, so it shouldn't cause problems. My ISO was 3.15GB
Question: I was downloading, then I decided to pause the download and jump into a game (Wild West). I had about 40 free gigs on my HDD before I jumped in game. After about playing for 20 minutes I got an error message that my HDD was low on storage. I exited out of the game and it was down to 32MB free! wtf?? I'm assuming it could have been Windows 7? Does it automatically partition your HDD or something?
It shouldn't, especially since it was still downloading.
I had a problem with my new Hard Drive (BIOS was reading a 1TB drive as 32mb) and I had to download "The Ultimate Boot Disc" and use MHDD32 to get the drive reading the correct settings again
