'[21PzGraf']Yeah people have plenty of reason to run DOS Windows; if I could, I actually wouldn't mind running a dual-boot, but as I said before, I don't have a 98SE disc; just a REALLY old 95 disc (I doubt it still works) and an ME disc (which I shall never touch)
Why not run a dual boot Windows XP / Linux?
Meh, I dunno about Linux; I've considered it since I've got an old 40Gig drive lying around, but I dunno. The reason I would want to run 98SE is for all our old DOS games; we've got some old favorites that are just too hard to give up, and I've not had much luck getting DOS Box to run them well.
AgentlaidlawPlus Windows 98SE doesn't kill your resources. Thing probably only uses a max of 78MB of ram instead of 800MB like XP does and 1.5GB like Vista does.
Woah, Your XP uses 800 megs of RAM?! Holy shit, I think you gotta get that checked, cause tops, mine uses 350-400MB, under heavy Windows usage.
