seem rather nasty, have you tried installing a copy of msn 7.5?? you may have to start considering a formatt if your problem continues

I'd definatly say that you need to uninstall Live Messenger and reinstall it. If you having other issues you may indeed need to reformat your HDD to fix all of it.

I was thinking reformat, but I wanted to try a few other things first, I was using windows live ones care anti virus, but to my dismay I found out that indeed my pc waas infected with 3 worms and I do belive I found 4 keylogger programs, so I got rid of windows live one care, seems rather obvious it was not working, then I got avast and did a scan and cleaned that whole mess up, then ran my clean up utilities 2006 and found about 30 or so registry errors, which are all fixed. The pc in general is running much faster now and seems better. The other programs that wasnt working anymore are now working, all except that damn live messenger. So I am uninstalling it as of right now and I will try it one more time before I even remotly consider a reformat, if it dont work again, then I will try a differnt version, if that dont work, then maybe I will consider a reformat. I will let ya know how is goes..

Edit, well didnt work again, version 7.5 did not work either. If any other programs give me trouble, then I guess I will have to reformat. Even if I dont want to... Thanks for all the help..

AmySueMy messenger will not saty on, I log in, it comes up, then boom, it shuts down and that send or report error thingy comes up and its pissing me off.. I have ran a reg scanne cleanup, had lots of errors and it still wont work. Anyone know what else I could try??

That used to happen to me but has stopped recently. I think the new update that came out for Windows Live Messenger might have fixed it but that's just a guess.
