hello ppl, i have had a problem with windows xp for a long time, its nothing major, well far from it but its really annoying and its that on my desktop icons, there is a solid color (black at the moment because i had a black background) behind the text and it looks really bad when i have a desktop picture, heres a pic if you dont get what i mean: a.bmp it is really starting to annoy me because it always ruins a great desktop picture, so if anyone out there knows how to fix this it will be REALLY appriciated thanks eagleone

try seaching microsofts help and support site, i only searched for 'desktop'

btw have you read the section about what can cause it? it may be something on your desktop that turns on 'Active Desktop' whatever that is
