Hopefully this thread is in the right place... anyways... Right now, my Doom3 machine is in a very uncomfortable place, and there is no hope of moving it. There is a TV and a couch [A much more comfortable place] about 20 - 30ft away in the same room. My thought is to play the game over there, on the couch, using the TV as the monitor. There are several ways I can do this. 1.) I can use a wireless mouse and keyboard. I dont want to spend much money so I cant get stuff that has 30 yard ranges and stuff. Im wondering how long the USB cable for most wireless keyboard and mouse combos is so that I can cut downt he distance by placing the transmitter half way. Is that possible? Also, I am told that there can be a lagging effect when using wireless peripherals. Is this true and if so, is it a really big deal? 2.) I need to hook my computer up to the TV. I need suggestions on how to do this. All i really know about right now is S-Video. Will there be lagging effect if I use a form of tv out from the computer? Will it be more of a strain on the computer? Will I have to disconect or turn off the monitor? Are there 20 ft cables that will let me do this? Are there better alternatives to what im trying to do?

If you have an Video card that supports S-Video you can hook it up... I'd just move the whole rig and be done with it... Why can't you move it anyway?

There's really no way to move it over to that area and be comfortable. Also, the TV is absolutely ginormous and the game would probably look great =)
