xps 630 fans stuck at 55% 6 replies

i bought a xps 630 about 2 or 3 moths ago. after about a month after i got it the case fans turned up to 55% when they used to be on 5% and 7%. and i can't turn them down at all. i used to control the case fans with the nvida control panel

Are you talking about the case fans, or the gpu fan?

check the bios. theres most likely a setting. I wouldn't use a software device for my fans unless it was for the video card due to things like this happening.

i tried that but there is nothing for the fans in there.

It's a Dell BIOS, I wouldn't expect there to be...

NCP should have worked... update your drivers maybe?
