Have any of you lucky guys frm the US got a zune? If you have would any of you ppls tell me: A) can you remove the battery? B) can it stream music to other devise with a wifi e.g your PC or xbox 360? C) how does it compare to it's competition?
What in the world is a zune?
A Microsoft mp3 player. Came out (in the US) a week or two ago I believe.
The new Microsoft MP3 player. It's kinda the Microsoft Video iPod. Aparentely it's quite good and offers more than the iPod at an identical price. To answer your questions idiot: a) No. But, I assume you can buy tools to remove the battery like the iPod. B)Yes. Yes you can. I don't know about the 360 but I know this is true for Windows. C) ^ :)
cool so you can stream music ace.
They say it can run linux with the supported hardware it's using. I'm geting one pretty soon and ill be sure to mod it when the linux distro comes out.

I believe its like an iPod battery, built in.
B) can it stream music to other devise with a wifi e.g your PC or xbox 360?
Only other Zunes, but it's probably gonna change.
C) how does it compare to it's competition?
It's like a better iPod Video, pretty much.
answers in teh bold.
What kind of a mobile OS does it use? What does Icrap (ipod) use?
There's no actual name for either of the OS's than run in the iPod or Zune.
A few things to note: It's twice as thick as the iPod. You don't want to use the Zune store to buy music with, it's terrible. The video life is worse than that of the iPod.
The reviews I've read say that the device itself is terrific. But it has major problems with the software (the Zune will not sync with Windows Media Player), and the copy protection technology (any music that you've bought from the Windows Media Player store won't play on it).
