How do you make a picture show when the map is loading?

I believe what he is saying is the pic that loads up like on beach the view from the water next to boat looking at the foward & upper bunkers & on axis complex for ex the view from the gunner looking in distance & axis complex below I hope that helps if not I can get a screen shot of what he is talking about.

ok here goes. First, you need to make your pk3 file. this is nessacery for relese. in there you need all your directorys such as a "maps", "scripts", "sound", "levelshots", and so on. some of these directories arnt nessacary like the "sound" directory if you dont have any custom sounds. To worry about your problem you need to look at the "levelshots" directory. Take a screenshot of where ever you want in your level and make sure its in the .tga format. Place this picture in the levelshots file. then your set!

look! i can lick my eyeball:p !!!!!

more to clarify: the pic can be .jpg or .tga it does not have to be in a pk3 for testing just in a levelshots folder located in your main directory. the pic must be named the same name as your .bsp ect...... mylevel.tga or mylevel.jpg
