Clients can also use the command "alt" while holding an airstrike canister to enable/disable a smoke grenade. Suggestion: bind your weapalt key (for the mauser) to "weapalt; alt".
Otherwise in console (~ key) trying typing /bind alt sg (not sure if that command will work I'll go try it)...
