I seem to be running into a plethera of problems here. I am trying to put together a water fountain, out of cones. Using them like bowls. But they are completely invisible, and when I test it out anything I throw on it (like a grenade) goes into some sort of black hole. Never to be seen from again, and never exploding. Any ideas?

Not much more to explain, made a brush, turned it into a cone, no modifications except adding a texture. When I go in the map, it literally doesn't exist. I can jump on it, it is there. I can blow it up (it is set as func_explosive). But I just can't see it

Maybe this will help, a picture of how it came out, vs how it should have.

I tried thickening it, now I can see the rims, but that is it.

i could not make a very good bird bath with a cone. So, I made one out of a cynlinder as there was more to work with. Worked really well, I set thicken to 16.

My best guess is that while your were moving verticies around you crossed one over making it invisible. you have to be very carefull when moving verts and they can not cross or they go invisible. I tried it with no problems. So delete it and try again. Also make sure your using 1.2.9 GTKRadiant

fun mapping.
