There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that this subject has been polled quite a few times since the creation of this Star Wars forum but anyway let's say hypothetically speaking you (not a character, your actual self) are force sensitive...knowing yourself, your personality, your behavior, etc what would you see yourself ending up being? A Jedi or a Sith? Please include an explaination of why you would be which....
Truthfully I would see myself as a Sith. Not b/c I like to go around eating babies and killing innoccent people but I'm someone who acts on emotions and looks a little inwardly rather then being selfless. The idea of having ultimate power excites me and using that power to control things appeals to me. I have much fear and anger inside me and that can only lead down the dark path of the force.
Dark Side: Red Lightsaber. Dark Clothing. That's all I got to say.
I'd totally kill all the bad guys without regret, lets face it, the falling to the dark side BS, is that, just BS.
Force lightning, strangling people with the force!?!?!? Dark side all the way.
I'd be a grey Jedi, Dark Jedi/Sith always seem to die..
They have a life expectancy lower than a Rapstar.
Tell that to the light jedis of the first 3 "pre" films.
JEDI JEDI!!! well id still kill people mindlessly... but not for any bad motive like taking over the earth... just a few here an there for amusement.
In Knights of the Old Republic, I stayed at the dark side through the entire the game.
Dark it is.
Still, Darth Plaegious (or whatever), he got killed by his apprentice.
His Apprentice gets an apprentice, he gets killed by a Padawan after killing 1 Jedi.
Score so far -1 for the sith.
His second Padawan nearly pwns some Jedi, but basically gets his ass whooped by Master Yoda.
-1 plus humiliation points, so far.
Then! his second Padawan gets killed! and at his own order!
-2 points + -1 for TK'ing. -3 total.
He killed some Jedi, and only survived the last of which because his Apprentice cut his arm off while he was doing it, then! he regrets it.
Sith points redeemed to 0.
The clones basically kill all the rest of the Jedi, maybe other than Darth Vaders selected few, which I wont go into because it isn't in the movies, but we'll give him a +1 for that.
Vader kills an old guy who basically commited suicide for no obvious reason to me. +0.
The sith fail to defend not one, but two Death Stars.
-2 , = -1.
Palpatine has Vader and Luke fight, Luke wins (no points, he used anger), but then! Vader betrays his master (-1) and throws him down a friggen shaft, before he becomes a Jedi again! (-2).
-4 for the Sith, all of them are dead again.. and yet, a select few Jedi still survive.
Hard for me to say. I'm uncapable of being an ass to people without feeling bad and having to work it out. However, I'm also prone to developing emotional attachments easily, which would work against me.
I'd have to say, I'd probably be unable to join the Jedi due to a fear of turning to the Dark Side. Most likely, I'd pull a Katarn and become a merc, or something similar.
