Ok I was reading another thread that mentioned the death star. Is there actually more than the orignal 2. Someone said there was supposed to be 4. Does anyone know:confused:

This is what I could find about them. STAR WARS: Death Stars

Starwars Technical CommentariesCoruscant Death Stars Incomplete twin Death Stars were under construction in orbit around Imperial Centre at approximately the time of the Battle of Endor. Unfortuantely, it seems as if neither was ever completed far enough to be useful. It is unknown whether the Rebel Alliance was aware of the existence of these nascent battle stations when the attack on the Endor facility was planned. The rebels probably would not have had the audacity to assault the heavily fortifed Coruscant shipyards, even if they knew about these ominous constructions. As bait, these stations would be useless to the Emperor, and he would find little value in allowing the existence of these stations to be leaked to rebel spies, as he did for the Endor project. In any case they seem to have been abandoned and dismantled within months of the Emperor's fall. [The Illustrated STAR WARS Universe]

No, actually there where 5, not 6. The Prototype in The Maw. The Original Death Star, Killed at Yavin. The 2nd Death Star, killed at Endor. And the Twin Death Stars at Courscant, Dismantled to Repair ships after Battle Of Endor, I believe. The Darksaber, The Hutt Superlaser, cannot be techincally classified as the Death Star, as they where not built by the Imperials, was only the laser and a small Crew and Command center. It was Destroyed at Hoth, after it tried to blast through 2 asteriods escaping from General Antilles and his Task Force.
