he he ! hmm ever wondered about the sceen in ROTJ about Luke and Liea having a 121 about their father. Talking about their mother Luke reveals he has no memory of his mother. Asking Liea she replies that she has very little memory of her mother - memories 'images' ? - well considering she was just new born and babies can't make out any kind of real images (Just shapes) until another twelve months - this is a miricle. Same goes for Luke really.. He was new born too - I mean who the hell remembers their birth ! LOL
Ah well some one will now tell me she was talking about her 'adoptive mother' - of course she was ;)
Another balls up comes to mind - Vader Vs Obi on DS - Obi's Saber seeming to "lose power" just before cutting to Luke, Han, Leia & Chewie about to run for the Falcon. Obi's blade seems to disappear and just be left with the rotating pole.
Yep I remember seeing that too. Seems to be there in the new DVD sets too from 2004's release.
Heres a fluff up. In the original first episode (episode 4) after the attack on Leias ship is successful and Vader walks through where the door was, a stormtrooper helping an injured stormtrooper just drops this guy with a rather loud thud. That would have hurt.
Also alot of the mentioned fluffs and inconsistancies have been covered up in the newer versions. I got the new versions of the old ones earlier this year to see the difference and quite a few small things are changed. Such as the actor that played Vader is replaced by the guy that played Anikan in Ep 2 and 3 at the end of episode 6 (holograms on the moon).
hmm I did not know that ! LOL - well they didn't cover up that light saber thing - I remember seeing that. Although my memory could be flawed in my old age just exactly which release I had seen it in - I am sure it was the 2004 release though.
(Off-Topic) oh and thats some thing I have been wondering about... where do you get that mini avatar thing with crewman on it ?
No the lightsaber thing is still in the 2006 versions as well! Not many of the slips are in there but I can remember at least three that are still there out of the hundreds that there were originally.
have they actually made any other changes between the 2004 release to the 2006 releases ? - I got the Trilogy Box set in WideScreen format. I wouldn't have thought there would be any other alterations until they do the next special box set release which I think will have all 6 movies in there. I think there saving up lots of stuff until that is released ?
I dont know, most of the errors are gone in my new 2006 set.
did you se the 2004 release of Star Wars ? - just wondering cause I didn't mention it before.. I'm not going to bother buying another copy of it until they do a Complete DVD box set version of all 6 movies.
