There are a few skies that will fog a whole level or you can make your own sky shader that does it.

Look at this site for the different skies that can be used;

http://www.nibsworld.com/rtcw/sky_shaders/sky.html

As to making a sky box, it's just like making a big room with 6 brushes. You just have to align them with the inside edges of the brushes, don't overlap them. The bottom brush should be up against the bottom of your terrain and the sides shuold but up against the side of your terrain. The top should just sit on top.

If your using GTKRadiant open one of the example maps (Beach for instance) that come with it to see what i mean.

Only use a sky from the textures menu with a white box around it. Unless you want to use one of the other ones then you'll have to write the shader for it.

A sky that fogs a level will not have clouds. you can use the ones that came with the game or make your own by adjusting the the fog prams

Example of fog I made...... this should give you an idea. look up the commands in the shader manual included with GTKRadiant....... fun mapping. the textures I used for this fog are already in the pk3's for RTCW......

Messing with JKII mapping and waiting for bot support for RTCW........ Then I will release my map. JKII has some pretty cool maps that are large and have good r_speed...... worth looking at......
