Well... I see you blockheads can't find things out the good way. You need WolfToolSDK, not GTKRadiant! SDK is easier and better! :smack:

Wolf Radiant was an unoffical editor used when RTCW was first released. Qradiant then took up the project of making GTKRadiant compatible with RTCW with the help of the original programers. GTKRadiant has more features, plugins like bob tools, gensurf, portal viewer. It also has a complete entity definition. For those of us that have been around we have all used Wolf tools (wolfrad) and have grown into GTKRadiant which has more features and is more stable. I assume your young and have not fully matured or even know what your talking about so I won't say anymore.

Map Making: I took the time to post every tutorial known to RTCW in the sticky (first post) there are plenty of tutorials to get you started. Please take the time to read them and save real questions after you have tried something and can't get it to work.

SDK is the map editor released by Activision, and made to be easier, including cutscene, and single player modes. And I am not young!!!

the editor was released long ago at the time RTCW was released. It was put together by the development team so that people could edit for RTCW at the time, So its there editor. qeradiant has taken the editor along with the help of the development team and made GTKRadiant which is a lot more functional editor. Activision is not going to release a version of an editor that they did not make or have rights to. Thats why WolfRad was given with the Gotty edition of RTCW. I have been mapping for a few years and only post information to help other mappers. I am not sure why you think wolfrad is able to do cutscenes better than GTKRadiant as thats a false statement. I have used both editors and have made several tutorials, and am sure you have no idea how to do a cutscene in any editor.

please get your information correct so that you don't mislead other mappers that want to learn and take advice. I think if you read the information on wolfrad in the gotty edition of RTCW you will find that its not supported at all. They tell you this for a reason. GTKRadiant is supported and is the editor used by serious mappers.

IF YOU HAVE EVIDENCE that wolfrad is better at something than GTKRadiant and can tell the rest of us how its done then fine. We could all use the information as were "blockhead" and don't know what were doing. Otherwise please keep your guesses and oppinions to yourself.
