I've noticed that the Jedi are always bragging about they're powers but they hardly have any. For example: In Episode III in the lift. Obi-Wan and Anakin don't notice the droids.

There are lots more examples of this. How do you feel about the "all-knowing" Jedi?

KadajWhen?

I was about to ask the exact same thing.

I don't think I've ever heard a Jedi brag about anything.

In Fact, the Jedi rarely joke let alone sustain cockyness.

Well Anakin does. Some others do at some points can't remember when though.

Fine forget it. But the Jedi still suck. Take Obi in Episode I. Why didn't he just take Qui-Gon's sabre with the Force and stab Maul in the back. Or in Episode II why did so many Jedi die. That proves they suck if they can't even survive five minutes. And Episode III how could nobody know the clones would turn on them? In Jedi talk that would create a huge ripple in the Force. How did nobody sense it?

Anakin does it all the time  And he was counted as a Jedi right up until he turned . . . just not a prime example of one. Obi-Wan was a lot cockier at one point too.

I think Jedi being vulnerable and not all-powerful keeps the story relatable to humans. Besides, it wouldn't even be worth making a movie just to show off a bunch of special effects. That's not what StarWars is all about. Special effects do kick ass, though. Videogames are a good place to look for really cool and powerful Jedi.
