to begin with, modding isn't as easy as mapping - you need a team and financial backing wiht more than a simple program to help you on your way

if you're serious about the time/effort/money you want to throw at a mod - be my guest =)

i was wondering the same...but...I'm not sure there's any software.

ask l&lDragonfly in the forums, if anyone would know it would be him, or HotShot(no offense other moderators)(these are just guys that have told me the most.)

Oi Contrinity all that u said depends on how you want to do the mod. He might just want to make a simple mod such as a one weapon only mod etc..

For starters if your interested in modding you will need to get the offical source code. Its on rtcwfiles somwhere. You will probably need to know a bit about C++ programming aswell.

I never tried this myself but their about the basics. I suggest you head over 2 http://www.planetwolfenstein.com/tramdesign/ register and ask there. Alot of people on their will know better.

I just a wee mapper lol.

lol it's me puba I had the [L&L] part removed. If you want to create a mod you will need some programming skills or find someone that has them. You don't neccassarily need money just time & effort.

Just download the source code off rtcwfiles for 1.41 & begin editing... http://www.rtcwfiles.com/file.info?ID=8507
