Are you trying to make a model??? or are you trying to put one in your map that RTCW already has ????

misc/misc_model (right click 2d window) will bring up the models. Not all of them work so find one that does.

If your trying to make a model then please explaine what program your using: Milkshape, 3dsmax, gmax, ect.... and what steps you took to make the model.

Those are not models. Those are prefabs. There is a difference...........

Prefabs are just a selection of brushes. you can make them yourself and I use them to save spiril stairs or anything I make that is complex so that I won't have to make them again latter.

just unzip the prefab and place it where ever you want. I place mine in a special folder but where you put them does not matter as long as you remember where you put them. prefabs almost always have the texture messed up so you will probley have to realign the texture.

to add to your map. just open GTKRadiant and under the toolbar menu go to edit/loadprefab. Then place it where you want it.

Ok, Cheathunter.....

I don't understand. you have a md3. Are you able to get the md3 to work ???

md3's must go in the models/mapobjects/cheathunter_models folder or your own created folder. They must have the md3 and the skin which can be a .tga or .jpg

fun mapping.

If your model did not come with a skin, Then you need to load it up in 3dsmax,milkshape or any other modeling program and create one. The models that are missing textures you can also add a skin to them that way and export as a md3.

I still don't think I fully understand what you mean by put on the model. If it did not come with a skin then you can't without putting it in a model program first.

ok, you don't have to put the skin on the horse. the skin goes in the same folder as the md3. So, models/mapobjects/horsemodel

Does the horse have animations ?? I would need the file to see how its set up. But what I explained above should work in normal circumstances.

the models folder is in the main folder. fun mapping.
