Anyone used the target_print b4? If anyone has played the mp_aim map they should of noticed when you shoot a target in a certain place it will pop up a message. Well I wish to know how that was done? The mp_aim map was made by Kalamazoo but I cant find his contact info to ask him what entity he combined with the target_print and what keys and values he used. If anyone knows his contact info and wouldnt mind passing it onto me or knows the answer id be greatfull if you let me know.

Ok I found out how to get it working, with some help from others 2 but its not perfect.

1st of you need your func_button with the following eys and values.

Func_Button Key = health Value = 1

Key = spawnflags Value = 4

Key = speed Value = 200

Key = target Value = print

Key = wait Value = 0

Next you need a Target_Print

Target_Print Key = message Value = lets party

Key = spawnflags Value = 4

Key = targetname Value = print

Ok thats alls you need to do. One thing to take note of is the message for the target_print. The value for the key message can be what ever you want it to say. The only problem with this is that it shows a cursorhint to the player when they get close and that it plays a sound. Havent beenable to disable the cursorhint or the sound as of yet.:rock: :smokin:
