Ive just started mapping a few months ago and just got around to doing some more. I want to play an mp3 in my map but I can't figure out how. I converted it to .wav but it still won't play. I know how to get the normal .wavs to play in my map though. I think i need to convert the .wav to a lower quality .wav, but I don't know how. Ive looked all over and can't find anything at all on how do play mp3s in Gtkradient. Please help!

Do a search for a program named sound forge 6.0 and get a trial version if possible or full if you know how ;)

The wav file needs to be converted to a 8 bit mono wav, then once converted put it in a folder (named what you want) in your rtcw/main/sounds folder. :smokin:
