No offense what so ever to this forum but I dont seem to be getting the answers I need here, can someone give me a link to some great editing websights? I need help with codeing a modelling, and also other people to work with me. But more importantly I need a forum where there are a lot of knowledgable coders.

Sry Luger, I sent you an email. I guess you didnt get it. Here are the Email contents: Here is a list of help topics I've slapped together right quick to get you going: Colt (Switch to 7 rnd magazine from 8): - Go into bg_misc.c and scroll down a bit. You'll find the weapons table (this will help a lot realism wise, trust me). At ln 92, are the stats for the colt. Find the max clip section for the colt and change it to 7 (it was 8). - Then, go into g_client.c and around ln 853, youll see where the game assigns the colt to players. Instead of assigning 8 bullets in a clip, change it to 7. If you want to, go to the next line and adjust it so that the total number of extra bullets is a multiple of 7 (so they have so many full magazines). That should do it. Edit Fire Rates: -This is really easy, but requires a lot of guess and check. In the weapon table i mentioned above (bg_misc.c), there is a section for each weapon called "next shot." The lower this number is for each weapon, the faster they fire, so just lower or raise these numbers. If your not sure which weapon your editing, scroll to the right, and youll see the MOD (means of death) info, which tells you which line is for which weapon. Grenade Blast Radius (Ive never messed with this, but this should work): - Go into g_missile.c, and after ln 1163, you'll see stats for the nades. Wherever it says "bolt->splashRadius," change the corresponding value to whatever you choose. Like i said, Ive never messed here before. Im not sure what you mean by picking up any enemy weapons, you can sorta already do that. And the mod Im still workin on with DetPak is still looking for help with the FG42, but with no success. I was wondering if maybe yould like to join our mod team, because we dont have a SP aspect, so perhaps you could be our SP coder. We have already done a lot of stuff that you mentioned for MP, and the great crusade mod did it before us. I dunno, if your interested just give me a holler. Hey captain bob, how are you? Thanks a bunch for the help. I'm iterested in joining your team, I dont know how much help I can be. I do have a few of the real life fire sounds for the weapon, but thats about it. If you guys have a websight I can post anything I find out about the code there or I can send an email. If I get done with my code I'll send it to you to compile. (I need help with the weapon spreads.) Do you still have my Email? Well its good to hear from you again, and thanks again for the Information.

Yeh I've been doing okay... You're very welcome. I felt bad when I saw your post and no one responded, so I registered to help.

How much have you done SP wise? It would be really great if our Band of Brothers Mod could have a SP realism feature too. We've already finished all of our sounds (minus one or two), and the MP code has been fairly debugged. We have a bunch of great new features that might appeal to a lot of players. I've written up a .txt list of all the changes so far, and I'm waiting to see if Det Pak minds my posting it here. Unfortunately, I've not heard from him for some time. Maybe he's on vacation? We had a website, but it's been abandoned, and the fellow working on it has vanished. Looks good though :agreed: :

Problem is that we need assistance too, and everytime someone offers to help, we never hear from them again. So we're just as stuck. However, the only thing we haven't gotten so far is the FG42 in, other than that, we may be very close to a release. :cool:

I thought I had your E-Mail address? Did you get the code help I sent you? BTW I looked up a bit about the Colt Model 1911 GI WWII Version, and found that it had a seven round magazine plus one in the chamber. So technically it is an 8 round mag.
