I know that diff weapons now have differnt rates of fire, but can they be adjusted? For example:The thompson could have semi-auto,then 3 round bursts, then full automatic.I think its been done before in the new shrub mod,but im not exactly sure.It would be a great feature.Due to the high damage from guns, the burst effect could be great if you need to take somone out with 3 or 4 shots.

It's really not that hard to get it in code, its just the task of coming up with unique cvars for each weapon, and setting bit flags.. So, yes it entirely possible, but, I'm not the man to ask if it will be in or not... :uhoh:

I dunno... That might not be a bad idea. Right now we gotta finish up what we're already doing, before we start something else.

I'd say that if you're gonna put it in (I'd prefer not), then it should be semi or auto, no safe (annoying and wouldn't be used anyway), or burst (Not available on these weapons, as Snake said).

IIRC, most special forces units don't have burst-fire guns now anyway - too many positions on the selector and a pain if they need full auto but select burst. Plus, it adds unnecessary complication to the mechanism.

I agree with sonuk... I dont see it ever getting use.

If you want to fire one shot, tap the trigger. Want three, tap it a bit more. Wanna give a guy a lead enema, don't let go. :D

I believe "bananas" is a 3-round burst for the MP5.....

Pull the trigger, say "bananas" to yourself, then let go.

no i have a pellet gun which shoots 20 shots a second( so does the mp5) if u said bananas that would be around 10 shots lol. if u tap trigger on full auto u get like a 2 shot burst just a millisecond longer is 3 shots.
