Iv'e played the game, haven't read the books. Are the books based off of the game, or vice-versa?

The video game is about Delta squad, while the books are about Omega squad, although Delta does apear in the second book. I can't belive no-one has read them. They're really good.

I've been working so much I didn't even know they were out. I'll definatly have to get them and read them as soon as I have a chance to make it to the book store.

I played the game.And i have read the first 2 books.Right now im working on finishing the Last of the Jedi books by Jude Watson and a series called Warriors by Erin Hunter. So eventually I will get around to the Republic Commando books again.
