Revenge of the Sith was cool, but some parts were really lame. Like at the beginning of the movie where Count Dooku, a major character in the previous movie has little more than a cameo (though thankfully so does Jar Jar), and how they survived the re-entry heat and make planetfall in a ship that was depressurized from a BROKEN FUCKING WINDOW! And the part with the boring (really?) and sappy dialogue where Padme tells Anakin she's pregnant. "Oh Ani, I'm preggers!" *yawn* The fact that the lightsaber battle at the end took place just a few feet above molten lava was also more than just a little bit retarded, since they would both be incinerated before getting ANYWHERE NEAR THAT CLOSE! I also found it a bit strange that what seems like one minute Anakin is a light side Jedi, and then all of a sudden he's killing children? It's like WTF; did I miss a few movies in between those two developments while I was getting my drink refilled at the concession stand? And Obi-Wan leaving Anakin there to burn and die a horrible death after their battle seemed like a pretty evil and cowardly thing to do. Quite out of character for the Obi-Wan we see in the original Star Wars. One would expect him to either try to save Anakin or just finish him off. What a jerk. I also thought it had a pretty eye-rolling ending, with Darth Vader rising up on that table shouting "NOOOO!!" and looking like he's Frankenstein's monster or something. Besides all that, the other 15 minutes of the movie was really good!

I admit it that sucked but all combat scenes were awesome.

I think it was a good movie, not as good as the old one, but still good. You really shouldn't try to search for realism in a science-fiction movie or good dialogues in one directed by George Lucas. Especially romantic dialogues. Remember the scene where Palpatine tells about that old Sith-Lord? I think that monologue was quite good. As for the "noooooo!" and Obi-Wan's actions after the final battle, those are really weak points of this movie and make it less fun to watch.

Well, the Obi-wan we see in Episode VI sees Vader as evil and beyond redemption. I thought it was kind of symbolic that he left him to die...he "gives up" on Anakin in the physical sense, not attempting to save him or alter his future in any way. It might not have been meant that way, but that's how it seemed to me. :)

Does the movie take away from the experience of being a Star Wars fan...I'm mean was it such a dissapointment that you didn't expect George to go down that road?

Lucas made that film as he meant it to be made, so no. Im still just as much Star Wars fan as always. Besides: General Grevious is cool.

Everything but the acting was good, what especially stunk was the Anakin-Padme dialogue, like a soap opera. And the friggin' monologuing between Mace and Palpatine, for goodness sakes just lob his head off and get it over with!!!

Besides: General Grevious is cool.

Gotta get me Battlefront II and take Grievous for a spin....

If you don't like the movie, I'd suggest reading the book. By creating actors in your own head you don't have to worry about all of the corny acting and dialogue. Read the entire book last night and it was quite good. Seemed to get off a bit slow and then rush through at the end, but it did explain quite a lot.
