If you want a great bad guy, 8 or 9 times out of 10, go for a well spoken British actor.

Palpatine/Sidious = Ian Mcdiarmid. Admiral Piett = Kenneth Colley Grand Moff Tarkin = Peter Cushing Count Dooku = Christopher Lee (And Saruman, Dracula, Lord Summerisle in The Wicker Man, Scaramanga) (Cry Freedom with Kevin Kline and Denzel Washington) Kruger = John Thaw + Cpt. De Wet = Timothy West. (Lethal Weapon 2) Arjen 'Aryan' Rudd = Joss Ackland (The Lion King) Scar = Jeremy Irons. (The Patriot) Col.Tavington = Jason Isaacs (Conspiracy Theory) Dr. Jonas = Patrick Stewart. (You only Live Twice) Blofeld = Donald Pleasance. (Spiderman 2) Dr. Octavius/Octopus = Alfred Molina (Shaft -with Samuel L Jackson-) Walter Wade Jr. = Christian Bale

These are just "villain types" I remember on screen that were portrayed by British actors. Most importantly of all, we Brits work cheap. And we're good at doing bad guys. For cheap.

Cap'n Rommel;3467451And Yoda speaks with German grammar.
VOP2288;3467469haha yeah I always wondered if that actually meant anything that most of the Imperial characters spoke with a Brit accent...I never really gave it any thought though.

As for Yoda it's actually Latin grammar but German and Latin are extremely close so its the same thing I guess.
VOP2288;3467597haha Latin is so easy though...and since english is mad out of a combination of German and Latin they all are really close to one another. Either way...Yoda speaks with the main verb at the very end of the sentance and thats what both of us mean...

No, he sounds like Fozzy Bear and Miss Piggy=Frank Oz. When u listen to Frank Oz's voice, you can hear their base speech pattern.

Originally, Yoda speaks the way he does becuase he was supposed to have lived on his own for a very long time, without any contact with any other "talking" forms of life. For the prequels, his speech actually became worse.

On the money with that one.
