Are there plans to make a boxed set of all the episodes? I haven't purchased any star wars dvd's, and I'd like to see if I'll have to buy them seperately or if they'll be in a special edition type set.
I take what n0e says way too seriously

Currently I'm only missing on DVD is Episode 3 since it just came out in theaters last week and is not available on DVD yet. I think it would be really cool if all 6 movies were released in a box set though. I for one would buy the box set.
I would die without GF

I think we can expect to see a boxed set of Episodes 1-6 as soon as or sometime after Episode 3 arrives on DVD itself.
i think that they will make a box set for the 1-3 and the set that is out now, 4-6, but i dont think they will make one with all 6
You gotta be stupid not to. They will do both trilogies and a 6 set imo.
What I'm expecting: Episode III released on DVD around August. Episodes I-III plus bonus material in a boxed set, Christmas 2005. 7-9 disc boxed set (all six movies, plus whatever extras) for 2007: 30th anniversary, anyone?

The 1-6 boxed set will likely be out sooner than 2007. They've all been done digitally, so Lucas and his minions have no excuse not to reap the benefits of a highly overpriced box set.
True, but they do have an excuse to wait 18 months for an all-disc boxed set, as I've already pointed out. Particularly so if sales of the current boxed set don't start lagging.
probably..its not likely to just omit one episode but rite now i have the boxed video version of ep 4-6 and i think i might buy the dvd version of 1-3
