Trauma Sensei;2426598Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back =D
Inyri Forge;2426581It's a toss up between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. The other four were somewhat disappointing.
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back Vastly superior to the original and never since surpassed.

wow. i really think that episode V sucked. 2 3 4 and 6 were better.

The Empire Strikes back.

The prequels sucked to no end. I would've preferred never knowing just what happened to Anakin (despite the fact that we all knew it years before they were made). A New Hope was good (indeed, the runner up in my list), but a tale unto itself. Lucas could've scrapped everything Star Wars after it and it would've stood alone just fine. Return of the Jedi bordered way too close to campy. And it spawned the Ewok movies.

The Empire Strikes back was dark, it had no closure, and more or less leaves you in not only hanging but also in shock (at least, it does the first time). There is no glorious victory for the scrappy underdogs in the Alliance, no happy ending for our three heroes and their companions. It's also the deepest film, with respect to character development.

ya, i guess you are right about the empire strikes back, but the movie itself was a little boring at times.
