I have a weird situation.

I work for The Barracks internet cafe in Canberra Australia, and I am trying to update my Battlefield and DC to the current versions (1.4 and 0.38 respectively)

I have uninstalled BF completetly from one PC and reinstalled it fresh, then I install Road to Rome, then I run the 1.4 Patch, then the DC .38 patch, and because I this is for a net cafe I have to install a crack so the CD is not required. Everything loads fine straight after I install it. But if I turn off the PC and boot it back up, BF wont load :uhm:

Anyone got any ideas as to what is given me strife?

cheers.

Hi Bumbklaatt1911,

This is a well known problem with some no-cd patches, another well known problem with no-cd patches is that if you mention them here your thread will get closed and you may get banned if you persist. I would suggest one of the virtual CD programs around, some of them seem to work ok. Either that or just glue your CD door closed if you're worried about ppl pinching the CD

Have fun

yeah i had a feeling that it's not good to talk about cd cracks around here but its for a legit reason (IE you cant have CD's in roms at a LAN/Net cafe)

anyway, for what its worth, I figured out the problem but I wont talk about it anymore because its cracking software.

cheers guys.
